MO-AFCC has as its mission to bring cutting edge interdisciplinary educational programs to our state, and to generate ideas to benefit high conflict families and children in the Missouri Courts system. Founded in 2003 by Missouri professionals from across the state, MO-AFCC publishes an e-Newsletter and holds continuing education events for professionals who work with families involved in the court system. There are MO-AFCC activities held in the major metro areas of Springfield, Kansas City, and St. Louis as well as state wide events. MO-AFCC has members in both the rural and urban areas of the state.

AFCC is an international professional organization that has been, since its inception in 1963, the critical point of intersection for judicial officers, attorneys, and mental health professionals working with family court issues. AFCC provides opportunities for cross-professional communication and training.
